Description: The Woman King 2022 story centres on an African country in 1823 that has the only all-female army in the continent. The female Army commander has a troubled past, yet her king still counts on her to be on his council. This film is incredibly complex, with a superb main plot and much greater supporting stories. The writing is exceptional, in-depth, and quite stunning. The character’s inner demons and battle with them are both skillfully represented. All of the performances are just excellent.
