Description: They/Them follows a group of young people who identify as LGBTQ+ as they enter Whistler Camp, an outdoor conversion facility managed by Owen Whistler. The kids are promised by Owen and his counselors a new sense of independence at the end of the week, especially in making decisions about their sexual and gender identities, thanks to the camp’s distant setting. This film is distinctive and absolutely terrifying. Because, in case you were unaware, homosexual conversion camps still exist and are currently in operation. For being homosexual or transgender, children are beaten and expelled from their homes. They continue to be murdered just for being themselves.
