Description: Latest action comedy, “The Union,” Oscar winner and close friend Halle Berry teams up with Academy Award candidate Mark Wahlberg. Julian Farino, who directed the movie, is making his feature film debut after fifteen years directing television series’ episodic content. Both David Guggenheim and Joe Barton are credited with writing the script. A common spy cliche appears in the first scene of “The Union” when Roxanne is sent on the incorrect mission, which creates the conditions for her to enlist Mike. The way Berry’s character was introduced was appealing to me; it was wonderful to watch her in action and managing business like a pro. Wahlberg makes a funny introduction, and it was nice to watch him play down his typical confidence and appeal to a person who is excessively thirsty.
