Description: Even with the obvious title, it’s not immediately clear what Nice Girls is aiming to do. This comic team-up film, which has a female lead, combines the silliness of The Heat with the action of Ocean’s 8. Alice Taglioni, an established police officer, finds out that her brother and coworker were slain in Hamburg. She feels compelled to look into her brother’s death alongside German police Mélanie (Stéfi Celma), even though she has been told to leave the investigation. Nevertheless, despite their animosity towards one another, both police officers come to see that their investigation is pointing to a serious threat in Nice.
