Description: Grafted 2025: Wei, a young Chinese student, is the main character of the story. Her father was an experienced scientist who was developing an innovative skin-grafting method. Unfortunately, he passes away while putting his technique on himself for the test. Several years later, Wei shifted from Hong Kong to New Zealand for her studies. She was placed in a university where she continued her father’s studies. Wei is quiet and self-conscious due to a noticeable birthmark on her face.Her past is shown in the first scene that giving us a glimpse of the blood and body horror. Then the film begins to set up the existence of Wei in New Zealand. The story does an excellent job of creating a balance between dark humor, terror, and sadness.
