The Israeli Ariel Vromen can’t make the movie, falling into a kind of Goodfellas to bring home by taking refuge in overused cliché gangster saga (which, as well, can no longer be the same after Scorsese and Sopranos). But at least hit the actor Michael Shannon calls a fig for the laconic icy Kuklinski, can suggest at the sheer intensity of his presence the mountains of pain and doubt that go inside of a man who has spent his life hiding , alone lends the film density that Vromen not provide.
