Description: Eddie Murphy reprises his role as the street-smart Detroit cop Axel Foley. When he gets a distressing call from his old friend Billy Rosewood, played by Judge Reinhold, informing him that his estranged daughter Jane, portrayed by Taylour Paige, is in danger, Foley rushes to Los Angeles. Jane, a defense attorney, is fighting to prove that a cop accused of murder was framed. In Beverly Hills, Foley reunites with John Taggart, the current police chief, and teams up with Taggart’s colleague Bobby Aaron, played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who suspects that Grant, portrayed by Kevin Bacon, a corrupt cop, may have information about Jane’s attack.
