Bodkin Season 1

Description: Billed as a “comedy thriller” Bodkin is the latest mini-series offering from an ongoing collaboration between Netflix and Obama’s. Production house Higher Ground that celebrates an American podcaster and British stories reporters following to the next big true crime show. That the seven episodes that go to a remote village in Ireland they hope to record have enough interesting ideas about murder and mayhem and fish for water in the crew. But unfortunately the season is a complete dud and the genre meshing is hardly anything spectacular. Bodkin is simply too uninteresting to make a good TV show. It’s neither exciting or compelling enough to qualify as a decent mystery nor is it clever or humorous enough to be recommended as a comedy.
