Bring Them Down 2025 is filled with the memories of past disasters and the risk of new ones. This film was written and directed by Christopher Andrews. It tells the story of a small, isolated society in a strategic but tense way. It’s been called a revenge film, and it is. But perhaps it would be more accurate to refer to it as a feud film. The local anger described in Andrews’ script has long-standing roots and has suffered despite changes in the local economy, technology, and times. Gary is investing in vacation homes on his property, a move that traditionalist Ray sarcastically calls “diversifying.” Despite its strong focus, this is a relatively film that celebrates its small dimensions.
