Plot: A family prepares to assemble for festal meals and also the exchange of gifts. They’re not essentially unhealthy individuals, however, they behave awfully. Mummy and pop are ill-natured and stressed. Beth, the adolescent daughter, has a lover who smokes pot. The awful cousins arrive, four of them, with swinish oldsters and an intoxicated grandaunt in tow. The nicest of the bunch is that the son, Max, who still believes in Santa Claus and who contains a special bond along with his German grandmother.
