In Empire of Lies 2026, a paranoid man lives alone in a remote countryside home, and he spend his days avoiding people and hide from painful memories. However, his quiet existence change when a mysterious young woman arrive for an interview. At first, he question her intentions, yet she remains calm and confident. As their conversation progresses, she asks direct question, and meanwhile she watches his reactions closely. Consequently, the man becomes nervous because her words touch a dark chapter of his life. Although he trie to dismiss her concerns, he cannot ignore the growing pressure. Furthermore, the woman appear to know details that no stranger should know, and therefore she unsettles him even more. Meanwhile, memorie of his daughter begin to resurface. As a result, guilt slowly replace his confidence. Nevertheless, he continue the interview because he believes he can control the situation. In addition, every answer reveal another hidden truth.
