Description: Though not for the reasons I had anticipated when I initially learned about the plot of the series Eric remains an engrossing watch. Although Vincent bears much of the responsibility for Eric Edgar’s disappearance sets off a more thorough investigation into the problems of homelessness and police corruption in New York City in the 1980s. We spend the same amount of time with Edgar’s disappearance lead investigator Ledroit as we do with Vincent. This implies that Eric isn’t in the programme quite as much as I had anticipated but it doesn’t turn out to be a bad thing.
