Description: Every year, I look forward to watching corny Christmas films. They have just the right amount of cringe-worthy drama, despite being predictable, so I would happily indulge myself. Nevertheless, from the very first scene, EXmas appeared to be a disappointment. Three theatre students appear to have been asked on the spur of the moment to perform a scene in which a girl asks her roommate and their partner about their Christmas plans. They assure her that they will return soon for her even though they are heading to the boyfriend’s house. Ali appears to be considering accepting her ex-boyfriend’s family’s invitation, though, since she believes that a breakup need not always mean severing ties with a nice family as well.
