The lengthy, beautiful bonding session between Aemond and Vhagar does the right thing by taking its time. For all the obvious reasons, House of the Dragon had to go all out with its dragons, and in order for us to comprehend the stakes of Aemond’s success, Vhagar, the largest treasure of them, had to be displayed in all her magnificence.
