Description: Paul Feig’s latest action comedy, Jackpot!, features John Cena and Awkwafina. A “Grand Lottery” has been established in the near future, and anyone can lawfully take the multibillion dollar jackpot for themselves by killing the winner before dusk. when Awakafina’s Katie Kim arrives in town. She unintentionally discovers that she has the winning ticket. She grudgingly teams up with amateur lottery protection agent Noel Cassidy (Cena), who has to bring her to sundown in exchange for a share of the reward, after much deliberation and misunderstanding. The movie has everything it needs: a strong concept with lots of potential; a skilled ensemble featuring two endearing protagonists; and Paul Feig, a filmmaker with experience handling both humour and action.
