The Jesus Revolution is a more enjoyable ride than I believe viewers are anticipating. This film is emotionally resonant without compromising any of the other crucial parts of filmmaking, unlike so many of its faith-film predecessors, which were merely opportunities for intense emotions. The movie is well-made.
