Description: In the first hour of “Kandahar,” Qom serves as the setting for the action. CIA agent Tom Harris and his partner Oliver were in a city in Iran. He entered a nuclear power plant while pretending to be a mechanic for an internet service provider. Their goal is to set up a system that will enable the CIA to gather vital information about Iran’s covert nuclear bomb development. Tom and Oliver are able to avoid capture and finish their task in spite of the Iranian guards’ growing suspicion. The CIA is simultaneously gathering extensive video of the nuclear power plant.
