Description: Out of My Mind manages to do what it surely got down to do: inform the story of a girl with cerebral palsy with care, making the viewer empathise together along with her immediately, seeing the arena the manner she sees it. The plot itself is instead predictable and enters melodrama territory from time to time, however it does consist of more than one distinctly emotional moments, which need to be sufficient to interrupt the toughest of hearts. Phoebe-Rae Taylor is outstanding as protagonist Melody; Rosemarie DeWitt and Luke Kirby supply naturalistic and charismatic performances as her parents, and the film as an entire feels sincere sufficient.
