Description: As we travel with the defunct heavy metal band Doxxxology, episode four “Rest in Metal,” gets its rock on. Ruby Ruin, the band’s frontwoman, now spends her days at a miserable job at a retail home improvement store. The days of selling out arenas and dominating the charts are over. Doxxxology still performs concerts, but mostly only in bars. Poor and unreceptive to any new stuff, the crowds are. Chlo Sevigny quickly came to mind. She has always had a seedy, grungy aesthetic, and that worked beautifully in this episode. She was excellent in the role of the faded singer searching for the past.
