President Ritson has been persuaded to launch a nuclear attack on the Skrull base in Russia by Gravik’s spy Raava, who is posing as James Rhodes/War Machine. This attack will start World War III and result in the deaths of several Skrulls and humans. But Gravik will end the conflict provided Fury provides the DNA samples obtained during the Battle of Earth. Despite the lose-lose predicament, Fury has a strategy.
