Southerly 2026 follow Ada, a determined musician who leaved Melbourne during the 2020 lockdown and head toward rural New South Wale. At first, she seek freedom from isolation, yet she also hope to revive her fading creativity. Meanwhile, the countryside offers silence, open landscape, and a chance for a fresh start. However, Ada soon meet Josh, a former musician who abandoned his dream after year of disappointment. Although Josh avoids music, Ada notices talent beneath his doubts. Therefore, she encourages him to help record new songs. At first, he resist the idea, but curiosity slowly overcome hesitation. Then, they begin working together in a simple rural setting. As melodies take shape, conversations reveal hidden fears and regrets. Moreover, music creates a bridge between two very different lives. While Ada searches for inspiration, Josh searches for confidence. Consequently, in Southerly 2026 on afdah each session pushes them beyond familiar limits.
