Description:The movie THE MARVELS is out now, and it’s a completely disorganised mess. This movie seems to have been cut and pasted during the post-production process, and it shows. There were a few aspects of the film that I found enjoyable. Firstly, I found it satisfying to see Carol Danvers and Monica Rambeau come to terms with and accept their relationship. However, because of the antagonistic nature of their characters, Iman Vellani’s Kamala Khan serves as the audience, much like Tom Holland’s Peter Parker did in CIVIL WAR. I believe that the script only skimmed the surface of Brie Larson’s character, Captain Marvel, so going deeper into her is a good thing, but the narrative once again failed to do her any favours.
