Description: In the novel The Painter, a Cia agent who was exposed to a terrorist attack as a child that killed both of his parents develops superhuman hearing. He got his codename incidentally from painting on the side. There are probably a dozen or so more fitting nicknames for this guy, but one has to assume that either they have been taken by other characters who are similar to him in other films like this one, or they just lack the quirky marketing potential of this name. Director Kimani Ray Smith offers a generic action thriller, and chances are you’ve seen almost everything if you’ve watched any thrillers or action films in the last ten years.
