William Tell 2025: The movie begins with the evil Viceroy Gessler telling the character William Tell, played by Claes Bang. He is force to shoot an arrow into an apple that has been placed on his son Walter’s head. The story then goes back three days. It’s a history lesson putting the Austrians against the Swiss. Ben Kingsley plays angry King Albert, who shouts at everyone and wants to rule over Switzerland. Claes Bang plays William Tell, a Braveheart-style fighter and rebel who fights for his rights against corrupt officials, including the villain King Albert, during the Austrian rule.
