Description: A group of women in a colony are subjected to a targeted sexual assault by the men in their neighbourhood, and they must make a difficult choice over how to respond to the atrocities committed against them. Women Talking forgoes glamour in favour of substance while having an ensemble cast that rivals the star-studded Glass Onion from 2022 in terms of star power. In her most endearing and likeable performance to date, Rooney Mara portrays Ona, a young lady who became pregnant as a result of being raped. Ona is portrayed as wide-eyed and insecure. Samone, the outspoken mother, is brilliantly played by Claire Foy, while Mariche, a character who struggles with deep dread and rage, is one to watch come award season in Jessie Buckley.
