Description: The film is around a group of ordinary people navigating Boston’s criminal underbelly. Rory, played by Matt Damon, is a troubled parent who requires urgent financial support. Casey Affleck’s gregarious ex-convict Cobby assigns Rory to work with him on a project. Michael Stuhlbarg plays Mr. Besegai, the criminal leader. Together with another thief, Scalvo, played by Jack Harlow, they are sent to commit a crime at a fundraiser for the dishonest mayor Miccelli, played by Ron Perlman.
