Description: Charlotte feels stuck in her marriage to a wealthy and tyrannical man. She begins dating another man, who unpredictably disappears. A highly exciting hour and a half of the film is Samantha Howe’s adaptation of her best-selling novel about a cheating woman whose boyfriend goes missing. As the woman, Emily Berrington is strong and empathetic, and Ben Lloyd-Hughes portrays the husband in a cryptic manner.
