Description: Tyler and Margot attend a high-society dinner that costs $1,250 per person and requires months in advance reservations. The meal is prepared by a chef who takes great pride in his craft and is served at the very exclusive Hawthorne Island. Tyler fully embraces every ludicrous detail of each opulent course, but Margot begins to sense that something is very off. The chef insists that there is a purpose for each course of the meal, and all of the extremely wealthy guests quickly learn that they are a part of the event, which raises doubts about whether they will ultimately have a satisfying meal’s end. The Menu is an advanced and brilliant black comedy with a strong script and equally strong performances. Particularly Ralph Fiennes does a fantastic job portraying the creative and psychotic chef Slowik.
